Is Everything Connected?

Andrés Martínez and Kemelo Sehlapelo

Performed at Manyi - Kulturális Műhely, Budapest and at the National Arts Festival Makhanda 2022, South Africa.

The performance begins by exploring the climate crisis from the perspective of marginalized groups and minorities, who statistically have less of a contribution to the crisis, yet are impacted the most.
Who are these people?
Are they discovering the gentle power of girlhood, womanhood, and the transition from one to the other?
Are they inspired by the moments that make us feel like everything is falling on us, when we hear our internal voices but none of them give a solution and rather, they make it worse?
Are these people affected on an individual level or on a communal level?

Are we them?

Are we all connected?
